What time of year is the best to visit the waterfalls in the Soča Valley ?

The best time to visit is in the spring (April to June), when the snow melts, and in autumn (October to December), when there are more rainy seasons. During these months, the waterfalls are at their most powerful, watery, and offer the most beautiful scenes for photography.

How many people can be in the group you lead ?

It depends on the location and difficulty. Usually 1 to 5 people, sometimes groups of up to 8. A maximum of 4 people for Photography Workshops .

What do I need to bring with me ?

Clothing suitable for the season. Hiking shoes; however, boots or water shoes are sometimes recommended or even mandatory. A sufficient amount of water or other drink.

How dificult are the tours ?

Tours are divided into three difficulty levels: easy (for everyone), moderate (basic fitness required) and challenging (for experienced hikers) !

Do you charge for guidance ?

Not at the moment , we are not a tourist agency or anything like that ! We are a group of volunteers who want to present a part of the Soča valley in our own way . We lead when we have free time !

Are the trails suitable for children or older people ?

The Soča Valley offers a variety of trails. Some waterfalls (e.g. Virje Waterfall) require only a short and easy walk, suitable for the whole family. Others (hidden waterfalls) involve steeper and rocky climbs.

Are dogs or other animals allowed on the tour ?

No, for safety reasons dogs or other animals are not allowed !

Can I join to your team ?

Of course, anyone who loves nature and waterfalls and knows to keep location in secret , can join.
